Founded in 2017, Mommy In Los Angeles Magazine was a passion project dedicated to sharing the stories of women who inspire through leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity, and motherhood. While the publication concluded in 2024, we believe these stories continue to matter.

This archive preserves the voices and journeys of the remarkable women we featured, serving as a lasting collection of the people who helped shape Los Angeles through their ideas, businesses, and communities. Every story deserves to be remembered—and to inspire the next one.

Anabel Marquez is a communications professional, former television news reporter, and magazine editor with a passion for storytelling and community. She founded Mommy In Los Angeles Magazine in 2017 as a passion project to celebrate the women, families, entrepreneurs, and changemakers who make Los Angeles extraordinary.

Throughout her career, Anabel has worked in journalism, government communications, and public affairs, always believing that every person has a story worth telling. Although the magazine is now an archive, she continues to highlight inspiring stories through the website and its social media channels.
